Lainey did so well for her Newborn Session! Her mommy and daddy traveled all the way from Colorado Springs to our Grand Junction Newborn Photography Studio.
It’s a really funny story actually! Well it wasn’t at the moment, but I can have a good laugh about it now…
As you probably already know, I am a busy mommy of 4, that’s right 4! In addition to church classes, dance classes, soccer and 4-h, I manage to work a Grand Junction Newborn Photography Studio.
Well the evening before this session, my youngest was up all night! The last time she awoke was 4am. Decided since I was already woken up, I might as well make and pack my family’s lunches. My task of making the hot lunch was completed at 5am and headed back to bed hoping that my youngest would let me sleep in for a few hours to catch up on the nights shenanigans. I was wrong :/ 6am she was up.. It was spring break so I had all the kids home.
Sleep-deprived I FORGOT I had the session! Went ahead and made a cup of coffee and snuggled on the couch with the girls for ‘The Sound Of Music’. About half way through I get a call from my client that they are here and ready for their session. As you can imagine I was mortified, mortified with myself! There I sat, ALL of my kids home in their pajamas, me in my pajamas, hair and house a mess!
Quickly I phoned my mother in law to pick up the kids and my sweet clients came in and got settled as I got dressed and ready. I’m SO glad everything worked out and I was home! And this beautiful baby girl was so amazing for her session! The edited images look so close to the Raw images because she was just so perfect, not a single blemish.
