Fruita Family Photographer

It’s almost that time of year where folks pull together and start planning their annual family photos! But did you know that you don’t have to wait until the fall to make the magic for your session with Ablaze Photography? There are perks to scheduling your Fruita family photos for late summer and here’s what you need to know…

  • Scheduling is easier. Doing anything off season has its benefits but this is especially true when it comes to your Fruita family photography! Not only do I have more session times available than in the fall, but turnaround times on receiving your edited photos just might be a smidge faster also. (And by *might be* I mean, they are.)
  • A variety of colors. Summer naturally brings vibrant pops of pink and purple against those gorgeous bluebird skies, our gorgeous natural landscape doesn’t stop there. In the same day that we capture all of summer’s goodness, we can also find deep moody tones to showcase whatever look you have in mind for your images.

Here’s a great example of the deeper tones that you can find even during the summer for your Fruita family photo session. My dear friend, Destiny, owns a western boutique and has a very specific look in mind when it comes to her images. I’ve had the opportunity to photograph each of her three children as newborns (including this latest cutie pie), so we worked together to create a cohesive look to ensure that images of all three babies can be displayed and thoroughly enjoyed together. I absolutely adore the way they turned out and can’t wait to see them in her home!

Back to the perks of scheduling your Fruita family photos in the late summer vs. fall.

  • Flexible wardrobes. Want to wear a dress but hate the idea of throwing a coat over it just to make it through your Fruit family photo session? Have a new favorite sweater that coordinates perfectly with your hubby’s shirt? Does your family love running around without shoes and you want to make sure images of their toes make it in the shot? This time of year is perfect for you! Late August and September sessions keep your family comfortable no matter what you pick out for them to wear!

Speaking of wardrobes… did you know that I now offer a client wardrobe? And we have a full style guide to help with hair, makeup, jewelry and accessory options. All Ablaze Photography clients (newborns, children, and adults alike) are welcome to browse through and use any pieces from my collection for their Fruita family photos! This saves you a lot of time and effort while planning your session – not to mention money. No need to purchase a cute top you’ll only wear once when you can just borrow it from me.

  • Discounts on early orders. Many printers (hello Shutterfly and Minted) offer discounts on things like Christmas Cards or photo personalized gifts when you order early! Get your photos taken in the late summer and you’ll have them back in time to be ready when those coupon codes are released.
  • Decorate before the holidays. Spruce up your home before your guests come over for the holidays by hanging large format prints on the wall or placing a beautiful new photo book on the coffee table. Not only will they make your home look even more beautiful, but they’ll also give you and your family something to chat about when your relatives arrive. Total win-win!

Don’t wait until the last minute when fall hits and my schedule is packed full of Fruita family photo sessions. Scheduling a late summer session with Ablaze Photography is super easy. Just give me a call at (970) 549-1574 or email me at daquari87@gmail.com and we’ll figure out a date and time that works best for you. I can’t wait to meet you and your family!

"Let them be little. Because they're only that way for a while.

Give them hope, give them praise, give them love every day.
